**MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Appoints Reyad Shah as New President and CEO**
**Framingham, MA** — September 17th, 2024 —
The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the appointment of Reyad Shah as its new President and CEO. With deep roots in the MetroWest community, an extensive background in education, nonprofit management, and community development, Reyad is uniquely positioned to lead the Chamber into a new era of growth and innovation.
Reyad Shah has been an active and influential member of the MetroWest community for many years. His journey began with the Framingham Public School system, where he dedicated his efforts to fostering educational excellence and community engagement. His work extended beyond the classroom, as he took on leadership roles within various nonprofit organizations, driving initiatives that have had a lasting impact on the community.
Most recently, Reyad served as the Executive Director of Downtown Framingham Inc., where he played a pivotal role in revitalizing the local economy, supporting small businesses, and promoting the cultural vibrancy of the area. His leadership at Downtown Framingham Inc. showcased his ability to bring together diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals, a skill that will be invaluable in his new role at the Chamber.
As a long-time resident of the MetroWest region, Reyad brings a unique perspective to his work. His deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses, coupled with his commitment to community development, will guide his holistic approach to leading the Chamber. Reyad's vision for the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is one that prioritizes the needs of businesses, community organizations, and nonprofits alike, fostering a collaborative environment where all can thrive.
